Flat Battery

During the first lockdown, we had many calls from customers who needed help due to their car battery going flat.

You may not realise that even though the vehicle may not have been in use on the roads, the battery is still being used to provide electricity to certain components such as alarm systems and clocks.

Problems can also occur when you are only using your vehicle occasionally as the battery doesn’t get enough chance to charge.

Ideally, make sure you take your car for a drive at least once a week and this should keep the battery charged. The older the battery the less chance it has of holding its charge.

If you are still experiencing problems with your vehicle battery, please contact our Service Reception Team on 0161 477 6266 who will be happy to help.
