Always up levelling our team!

As a customer of John Delany Motors, we genuinely want the best for you and your vehicle. This is, and always will be, our number one priority. To achieve this, we constantly look for developmental opportunities for our vehicle technician team, who share a love of lifelong learning within their craft of the motoring world.

Technician Team and their training

Behind the scenes, we’re always busy keeping our team up to date with the latest technologies. Anthony, Dan, Steve, Dean, Allan, Matthew and Paul, who we’re sure you’re all more than familiar with, have recently undergone IMI training (Institute of The Motor Industry). Their course was titled ‘Level 2 & 3 in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair & Replacement’.

In a nutshell, this now enables each of them with the skills and experience to safely work on both Hybrid and Electric vehicles. In today’s current climate, we felt it an absolute priority to upskill our technicians with bespoke training in the hybrid and electric vehicles sector. This will now enable them to remedy any of your vehicle issues, as well as give them a sense of mastering new learning and skills within their profession.

A little more about the qualification

The guys are now equipped with excellent, real-time knowledge gained through completing this course and gaining a qualification. When working with your hybrid and electric vehicles, they are now fully able to:

  • Work on each vehicle with full safety training (undertaking every role with the maximum knowledge of keeping themselves and your vehicle safe)
  • Carry out thorough diagnostic, testing and repair activities on each vehicle
  • Work with vehicles that have suffered damage due to their high energy and electrical system
  • Record information and make suitable recommendations, based on each individual car and owner

As a direct result of completing the qualification, our team at John Delany’s now feel confident and secure in their core knowledge and skillset when working with these vehicle types.

As always, if you have any questions about your Electric or Hybrid vehicle, either drop in and see us or contact us online
